Practice Administrator

Darci Hardman (she/her) joined the Arch Psychology Melbourne team as the Practice Administrator. She has brought her exceptional organisational and professional administrative skills to Arch as well as her warm and friendly nature.

 

Darci is currently studying the Advanced Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Monash University. She aims to pursue her studies by going on to complete a Masters Program, with aspirations to then become a psychologist.

 

Darci has participated in work experience working with our other psychologists, and was particularly interested in her time with neurodivergent children and counselling with adults.

 

Darci hopes that once she gains her registration as a psychologist, she will work in a clinical environment with both adults and children.

Darci is onsite Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday, and Fridays.

Felicity Manley (she/her) is a general psychologist who is passionate about supporting people of all ages and backgrounds with their mental health and well-being.

 

Felicity is empathetic and endeavours to create a non-judgemental space for individuals to safely explore their challenges. She believes that positive change and healing can come from equipping clients with evidence-based techniques and by collaboratively working together to develop insight.

 

Through Felicity’s academic training and clinical work experience, she has gained competence working with a wide range of clients, particularly individuals with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.

 

Her therapeutic approach centres on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy.

Megan Fielding (she/her) is a registered psychologist who aims to provide a holistic understanding of her clients needs. She provides individualised, evidence-based support for her clients, and their parents, teachers, and school. Megan is passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming care for her clients, with the aim to create a safe and supportive space for people to be their authentic selves.

Megan has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families with a variety of developmental and social-emotional challenges, such as learning, attention, social and behavioural difficulties, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence.

Megan has an interest in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments across the lifespan, including (but not limited to) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, intellectual disabilities, and learning disorders. She administers cognitive, educational, and diagnostic assessments for a range of age groups.

Melinda Adams (she/her) is a general psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists. Mel is also a qualified EMDR therapist. She has over two decades of experience working with children and young people, and has worked as a psychologist with neurodivergent people and individuals presenting with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, social difficulties, aggression, family breakdown, and grief and loss, Mel's background also includes psychological work in schools supporting students and assisting educators with developing skills to support students with emotional and mental health needs and with managing challenging behaviours.

Mel is passionate about working with parents and families and provides empathetic and non-judgemental support with managing parenting issues. She provides EMDR therapy to those experiencing distress from trauma. She has a strong interest in learning about her clients through comprehensive assessments and aims to understand each client as a whole person across the different areas of their life. Mel also enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and using a warm, caring, and collaborative approach to help clients with their needs.

Shannon McCarthy (she/her) is a registered psychologist, and member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has experience providing psychological services to young people across a range of contexts, including home, primary and secondary school, and clinical settings. She values working collaboratively with young people, their families, teachers, and other professionals.

Shannon utilises a person-centred and strengths-based approach, while implementing evidence-based therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She is an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and utilises a Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-e) framework.

Shannon is passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed care to young people. She creates a safe and supportive space for young people to be their authentic selves.

Shannon has experience administering cognitive, educational, and diagnostic assessments for a range of age groups.

Shannon is available on Mondays and on Fridays.

Speech Therapist

Stephanie Allan is a passionate, certified, practising speech pathologist who has worked with individuals across the lifespan, developing a particular interest within the paediatric population. Steph's areas of interest include speech sound disorders, developmental language disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, early intervention, and literacy.

Prior to completing her Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University, Steph completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Monash University, where she learnt valuable skills in supporting the mental wellbeing of clients and their families. During her studies, Steph worked as a disability support worker, supporting children and adults with intellectual disability to develop social and life skills. This was extremely rewarding for Steph.

Steph has experience working in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, kindergartens, community health, and client homes. She also has extensive experience conducting assessment and therapy sessions using telehealth services.

Steph believes that success in therapy is achieved by first establishing a good collaborative relationship with the child and their family. This involves forming client goals together and creating a fun and engaging environment. She is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed formal training in speech sound disorders, literacy, orofacial myology, and early intervention.
